Power Ledger is a peer-to-peer electricity trading platform on the blockchain. It allows consumers to trade their reserve electricity to those who want to buy it, taking out the middleman of energy companies. This allows the consumer to buy energy for a cheaper price and sell for a higher price than energy companies would be willing to buy it back for. Although it does not have a working product for consumers yet, the inherent value of this project has not gone unnoticed and POWR has received a grant from the Australian government, and has partnered with a Thai power company
